Can somebody recommend a shower head that will soften water?
By admin | December 23, 2008
I live in Los Angeles where the water is supposedly some of the hardest in the nation. Everytime I go back east and use a shower, my hair and skin feels totally different. It’s an instant difference.
I’d like to get a shower head that will soften this hard water. I would also like it to take out any chlorine, metals, chemicals etc., but this may be the same thing as softening…much appreciation if anybody can clarify.

Showerheads do not soften water. You need a filter, that screws between the water pipe and the showerhead. There are a few different brands of these filters at the hardware stores, and they filter out most impurities, chlorine, rust, salts and other stuff. They are kinda barel shaped, find them at the faucets and filters aisle..
