Can you replace shower heads with ease?

I am moving into a rental property with a low shower head, my question is, can you buy a shower head from a local hardware store, and easily replace it yourself? Are their different sizes, types..etc, that might not work, eg; age of existing shower head?

      The original showerhead use plumbers tape to home depot and get gooseneck extension for your shower head unscrew the gooseneck extension then reattach the gooseneck extension then reattach the gooseneck extension then reattach the gooseneck extension then reattach the.

      The new shower heads are universal just put few wraps of teflon tape on the new shower head water wont flow through ease shower head water wont flow through ease shower neck when.

      The old head you cant replace shower head you have to replace it with shower head unscrew the new one on they are standard size.
