does the size of your shower head determine how much water it uses?

By admin | September 20, 2009

StaceyD asked:

We have a 61 gallon water tank. 2 adults 3 small children. After a 20 minute shower the water is cold. We can not take back to back showers. Is this normal. Both showers have large shower head. Is this the problem?
Thanks for all of your responses. The shower head is brand new. Can there be a problem with my tank or something else, since the size has nothing to so with the amount of water it uses during a shower?

Its not the size of the shower head per se. The flow rate of the shower head would directly relate to how long you can maintain hot water. You could try a low flow shower head to see if that fixes your problem.

For over consumption of water if you get small shower head might be solved relate the time we spend in the number of water if you get small shower head might fix.

The bathroom will remain constant in most cases so getting smaller shower head with fewer number of pores.
