How can I remove shower head?

I live in an apartment. I want to use a handheld b/c it makes it easier to clean the shower, it’s quicker when i’m in the rush, and it’s just much better. I cant tear into the wall b/c i’m renting and also whenever i move, i have to put the original back on.

Or is there such thing as a shower extender that i can place over the orignial shower head?

      sure, using pliers and cloth to not scratch, take off existing head and attach your shower wand
      if you mean like this

      For before installing your new hand held shower head down just little more until it if it little more until it stops leaking good luck.
