How do you fix a shower head that droops?

mlmeyers02 asked:
I have a shower head that has one of those joints in the middle with a screw thingy (sorry, can’t remember the technical term) in the middle to adjust the height and angle. It’s as tight as it can go, but it still drops down and hits me in the head when I turn the water on. How do I keep it in one place (preferably above my head!!!) ?
Thanks.
Anna

if that adjustable joint is shot you should probably just replace the shower head unless you dont mind duct taping a clothes hanger to it to hold the correct angle
