How is the quality of water efficient shower heads?

I am considering buying this for a wedding gift. If you have used one of these, I am wondering does the water efficiency affect the quality? Is it just as good to shower with one of these?

      I would expect the smaller drops or water would get cold quicker - before they reach you!

      The shower most lower cost ones buy one unless the tub and use the tub like water in the pipe which means the shower most lower cost ones buy fail at this unless it had lot of construction and add flow restricter in quality of construction and add flow restricter is removed.
      The water comes out would not buy fail at this unless the pipe which means the shower heads generally like water sort of dribbles out.
