I want to change the shower head in my bathroom. Do they have universal threads on the connectors?

I’m wanting to put in one that can be either hand-held or put into a bracket and used like a regular shower head. Anyone have tips or suggestions?

For the threads are universal buy small roll of teflon tape to wrap the threads are universal buy small roll of teflon tape to wrap.

Yes, but use teflon tape (which comes with most heads).

Tighten hand tight then 1/4 turn with a wrench. If it leaks, another 1/4. Be careful not to strip but you don’t want to drip.
