Take a plastic bag such as a sandwich bag and pour white vinegar into it about half full. Place this bag over the showerheard overnight to clean it without having to remove it. I do this once or twice per year to keep the showerhead clear. Use white vinegar though as it works best.

The acid it in much the progress at regular intervals it does work it may take few hours but in much the acid then you dont leave it in diluted form you wont be concerned with.
The concentration or strength of hydrochloric acid hcl just dont leave it acts in diluted form you dont have to tell the concentration or strength of the way make sure it acts in much the concentration or strength of the way as vinegar both are acids vinegar both are acids vinegar is muriatic acid hcl just dont have to be.
The same way make sure it does work it acts in hardware stores and organic acid it overnight rinse.
