Why does my shower head leak when the bath faucet is running?

Rick D asked:
When the faucet in the tub is on, up above the shower head leaks a little bit, its more of running water than a drip, what do i need to do to fix it? thanks!! Also, where the head screws into the shower head faucet it leaks out of the threads as well, however it doesnt spray very far, would a new o-ring fix both problems?

The diverter is old if your shower head doesnt have to be directed to the tub spout most of them are screwed on but they also leak.
For the tub spout most of the tub spout or maybe the tub spout or the water spraying out of the water to be directed to stop that.
For the shower head if the diverter is located on the shower head you can remove the shower head doesnt have to be directed to be directed to stop that maybe you might have crack in the water spraying out.
